Michael Duster
Executive Director

Michael is a licensed estate agent who has nearly 30 years experience in the development industry and specialises in the identification and transaction of development opportunities for the group’s extensive client base.

Michael is primarily responsible for overseeing development site transactions and embraces a hands-on entrepreneurial approach. Michael boasts an exceptional network of industry contacts spanning the Australian property development industry.

Michael is a member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.


Gerrard Ellis
Project Director

Gerrard commenced with Oliver Hume in 1996 as a Sales Executive servicing builder requirements in Melbourne’s North West region. Transitioning to the company with strong experience in the building industry, Gerrard was able to draw on his contacts and experience to establish and maintain the company’s builder network, which has since grown in excess of 150 of Melbourne’s most reputable builders.

As Project Director, Gerrard manages the marketing and sales strategies for both residential and new homes operations, coordinates estate launches, retail pricing, customer service processes, client reporting and the analysis of market demand and demographic trends to ensure the Group’s market intelligence is second to none.


Gerrard boasts strong relationships with prominent developers, building identities, architects and Government representatives to aid the transition of residential projects from inception to completion. Actively liaising with the entire spectrum of the development industry, Gerrard maintains strong relationships with Melbourne’s leading homebuilders, often uniting them with development clientele to achieve the best results for all parties involved. Gerrard is a fully licensed estate agent and was appointed as a Director in 2003, as his commitment and contribution has helped to build Oliver Hume as one of Australia’s leading project marketing companies


Paul Ciprian
Project Director

Paul commenced with Oliver Hume in 1997 as a Sales Executive servicing builder requirements in Melbourne’s South East region. In 1999, Paul was appointed as Regional Sales Manager and he is now responsible for managing the sales and marketing initiatives for many of Melbourne’s most highly acclaimed residential communities in the capacity of Project Director.

As Project Director, Paul manages the marketing and sales strategies for both residential and new homes operations, coordinates estate launches, retail pricing, customer service processes, client reporting and the analysis of market demand and demographic trends to ensure the Group’s market intelligence is second to none. Paul is a fully licensed estate agent and was appointed as a Director in 2009, as his commitment and contribution has helped to build Oliver Hume as one of Australia’s leading project marketing companies.


Steven Zammit
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Steven Zammit is the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for the Australian Property Service Group including Oliver Hume Group and Synergy. Steven commenced with Oliver Hume in January 2010. Steven has spent the last 15 years working for ASX listed and US multinational companies in various industries.


Prior to joining Oliver Hume, Steven spent 2 ½ years with Molopo Limited an ASX listed mining company as their Commercial/ Finance & Compliance Manager where his responsibilities included statutory and ASX reporting , company secretarial activities and commercial management of corporate acquisitions, asset sales and capital raisings. Steven was the Group Financial Controller at OAMPS Ltd and the Regional Financial Controller - Asia Pacific for JDSU (formerly Acterna Asia Pacific). Steven was also the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for Bourse Data Limited an ASX listed service company. Steven has strong experience in all areas of compliance and company secretarial duties for private, ASX and US listed companies. Steven has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance and a Masters of Business in Banking and Applied Finance). Steven is also a CPA.


Andrew Perkins
National Head of Research

Oliver Hume Research was established by Andrew who is responsible for the ongoing management and strategic direction of the division nationally.

He has accumulated close to 15 years experience in property research across a range of market segments, during which he has held senior research positions, working closely with public and private sector bodies both nationally and internationally.

Andrew writes a quarterly column for the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) and is a regular contributor to the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA), Victorian Planning & Environmental Law Association (VEPLA) and the Property Council of Australia (PCA) industry publications.


Brinton Keath
Joint Managing Director (Queensland)

Brinton is a senior player in the property market and brings a wealth of experience, leadership and strategy to the overall Projects Division. Throughout his career, Brinton has been involved in some of the largest developments on the Gold Coast in different capacities, and, as such, is able to draw on his varied background to achieve immeasurable success.

Brinton’s successful career in the property industry includes seven years as Associate Director of Landmark White Valuers and five years as Director of Colliers International Gold Coast Project Marketing Business.

Brinton is responsible for the strategic growth and direction of the entire South-East Queensland business.


Marcus Buskey
Joint Managing Director (QLD)

Marcus joins the Oliver Hume team with a wealth of experience.  Marcus joined PRD Nationwide as marketing manager for the Four Tower, 250 apartment Waterfront development, Bayview Harbour. Following a record sellout, Marcus was promoted to Sales and Marketing Manager and then Director of Project Marketing for the Gold Coast and New South Wales. During this and subsequent periods, Marcus implemented and executed the Sales and Marketing strategies for notable projects.

During his tenure, he received numerous sales awards as well as two national marketing awards. In 2001, Marcus was recruited to establish Colliers International Residential division in Queensland and Northern New South Wales with the launch of the Gold Coast and Brisbane Residential offices.

Since many major success stories, Marcus is now regularly employed by interstate and overseas development groups to provide strategic advice on project positioning, creative branding, individual sales track implementation and negotiation advice.
