Key worker grant is key to affordable land
The western growth corridor’s most popular new community Aspire, which is located next to Hillside, is lending a helping hand to local workers by offering a significant grant to help purchasers get their foot in the door.
As part of the recently announced Key Worker Grant, renowned developer Villawood Properties is offering $10,000 off all home sites at Aspire as well as house and land packages in a bid to provide affordable housing for the region’s key workers.
Workers in key community roles such as emergency services, schools, hospitals, trade, retail and hospitality and other occupations that benefit the community are eligible for the offer.
Villawood Properties executive director Tony Johnson said the Key Worker Grant was an important initiative to ensure that new land remained an affordable option for the local community members.
“Key workers are the lifeblood of any community, as without our key workers there would be no hospital or retail staff, local police officers or even school teachers.
“It’s imperative that any region’s key workers have access to affordable house and land options, which is why we have introduced the Key Worker Grant.
“Villawood is dedicated towards providing affordable land now and in the future, and the Key Worker Grant is just one of the ways we are working towards a more attainable price point for purchasers,” he said.
Located on the cusp of Hillside and positioned within convenient access to a range of established amenities in Caroline Springs and beyond, Aspire has been popular with purchasers since the get-go with the majority of lots in the first two stages now sold.
