Villawood will pay your builder's deposit
One of Victoria’s most renowned residential developers, the multi-award-winning Villawood Properties, is leading the charge to restore housing affordability in the thriving south-eastern growth corridor, thanks to a new campaign that aims to give home buyers a helping hand.
Titled the ‘Builder’s Deposit Campaign’, Villawood Properties will pay builders deposits on behalf of new buyers to a home value of up to $250,000 when purchasers buy a home-site at the incredibly popular Marriott Waters community in Lyndhurst or Pasadena community in Clyde.
Available for a limited time only, the Builders Deposit promotion is available through Villawood’s six major builder partners: Burbank, Carlisle, Metricon, Porter Davis, Henley and Simonds.
Villawood believes the campaign will help to restore confidence among many of Victoria’s home hunters, and provide a much-needed boost for those who may be having difficulty saving for a five percent builders deposit on top of the costs of purchasing the land.
This is not the first time Villawood Properties has acted on housing affordability, with the developer currently working with a range of builders to provide a variety of innovative housing solutions including specifically-catered house and land packages and sleek townhouse offerings across many of its quality communities.
Villawood Properties executive director Tony Johnston said the Builders Deposit Campaign would help to provide some welcome relief for purchasers who may be struggling to achieve home ownership for the first time.
“At Villawood Properties we are serious about restoring affordability to Victoria’s new land market, and recently we have been working on a series of innovative solutions to help curb rising prices driven by increasing government and development costs.
“The Builders Deposit Campaign is just one of the ways Villawood is offering a helping hand to purchasers who are desperately trying o break free of the rental cycle and buy their first home, or upgrade as their family expands.
“Each of Villawood’s new communities offers a range of affordable house and land options, and the Builder’s Deposit Campaign is a natural extension of our commitment to our purchasers,” he said.
Marriott Waters has experienced overwhelming demand since sales were launched in 2008, and just one final stage release remains before the community is sold out.
Featuring a series of breathtaking wetland regions, kilometres of bicycle tracks, boardwalks and look-out points, as well as a state-of-the-art residents-only recreation centre and shopping hub currently underway, it’s no wonder this community has been so popular from the get-go.
Similarly sales at Villawood’s Pasadena community have exceeded expectations, with a flurry of construction activity in recent months resulting in the estate’s firstresidents being set to move in by September this year.
