Andrew Perkins
National Head of Research
Oliver Hume Research was established by Andrew who is responsible for the ongoing management and strategic direction of the division nationally.
He has accumulated close to 15 years experience in property research across a range of market segments, during which he has held senior research positions, working closely with public and private sector bodies both nationally and internationally.
Andrew writes a quarterly column for the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) and is a regular contributor to the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA), Victorian Planning & Environmental Law Association (VEPLA) and the Property Council of Australia (PCA) industry publications.
Geoffrey Bills
Independent Economist
Geoffrey Bills is an independent economist with long experience of analysing and forecasting economic activity in Australia.
He holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia University, New York.
In the past he has been the chief economist of BHP, a senior lecturer in business administration at the University of Melbourne, and a member of the Stock Exchange of Melbourne
Josh Brown
State Research Manager (Queensland)
Josh Brown administers the South East Queensland operation of Oliver Hume Research. His primary role is to collate information on residential property trends and deliver current intelligence to clients. Josh facilitates informed decision making which is an imperative in the present climate and project success.
Operating in a transitional market can be problematic, but Josh’s comprehensive understanding of SEQ projects mitigates the related risks by providing an accurate and timely understanding of the markets movements. Josh holds a Bachelor of Business Management majoring in Real Estate and Development from the University of Queensland.
During the final stages of his degree, Josh worked for as a property analyst for a national research agency based in Brisbane. Joining the Oliver Hume SEQ team in 2011, he utilises his intricate knowledge and understanding of the local residential property market to oversee the research operations of the business. In addition he is currently studying Project Management at the University of Queensland part-time.
David Dordevic
Research Analyst
David Dordevic joined Oliver Hume’s Research Division in 2011.
He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property) from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
Working with the National Head of Research, his focus is on both the New Communities and Apartment market sectors.
