Grant Dearlove is a Non-Executive Director of Oliver Hume Corporation and plays a central role in setting and reviewing the strategic direction of the firm, including developing and implementing growth-focused initiatives and ensuring strategic and operational alignment between the board, management and staff.

A highly regarded executive and company advisor, he has been critical to Oliver Hume’s recent success, including cementing the industry dominance of the company’s core agency business, developing sophisticated distribution channels and growing the brand in new markets, including Queensland.

His key focus for the future will be on helping the business manage the cyclical nature of the property market and managing the risks and opportunities associated with technological disruption of the real estate industry.

Grant has particular expertise in advising on the strategic direction of high-growth professional services firms and has overseen more than $300 million of merger and acquisition transactions.

He has considerable experience in the property sector and has spent the majority of his executive career in the sector as the National Director of Colliers International, and National Managing Director of Colliers Residential and PRD Nationwide.

Grant is also the Chairman of Oliver Hume’s Apartments business (Oliver Hume Apartments Victoria Pty Ltd), Chairman of the Queensland business (Oliver Hume SEQ Pty Ltd) and Chairman of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee of Oliver Hume Corporation.

He is a lawyer and professional company director and currently holds a number of roles outside of Oliver Hume in law, primary health, training, funding, economic development, consulting and stockbroking.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, Master of Business Administration, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. Grant is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and has Studied Leadership of Professional Service Firms at Harvard University.
