Oliver Hume Strategic Acquisition

National property services group Oliver Hume Property Group has officially acquired and relaunched Property Training Australia, a nationally accredited registered training provider.

The move marks a significant step into the education and professional development space for a business with more than 70 years of experience mentoring thousands of successful property professionals.

The acquisition will see Property Training Australia continue to deliver the flexible, accessible, and outcome-driven training it’s known for, but now with the backing, resources, and national network of Oliver Hume Property Group.

According to SEEK’s recent Employment Dashboard, job ads across the Real Estate and Property category rose by 14.2% year-on-year nationally. There are over 163,000 registered real estate agents across the country, according to CompanyData.com, with steady growth driven by population increases, new housing developments, and rising rental demand.

The number of real estate services businesses has grown by an average of 2.0% annually over the past five years, with more than 45,400 agencies operating nationwide in 2025, according to IBISWorld. This expansion is most prominent in Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia, where demand for housing and property management continues to surge.

Property Training Australia was originally established in 2003 with Oliver Hume acquiring the business from the founders in late 2024 and undertaking a brand and organisational refresh under new CEO Ilker Uysal.

Oliver Hume is one of the country’s oldest and most successful property groups and provides a range of services to property developers, buyers and investors. Its brands include Oliver Hume (property development services and research), Oli Property (investment property buyers service) and Oliver Hume Capital (investment management).

Mr Uysal said the expansion into training and education was a logical expansion for the group.

For over seven decades, Oliver Hume has trained and mentored thousands of real estate agents, property professionals, and project marketers. Supporting people to succeed in property is at the heart of what we do,” Mr Uysal said.

Acquiring Property Training Australia is a natural progression of this mission, and a unique opportunity to raise industry standards through high-quality, real-world training.
