The Land Monkey’s Make Headlines at Variety Bash 2025

The Land Monkeys make headlines at the 50-year Variety Bash; 'An Outback Odyssey'.

Oliver Hume Property Group is proud to support the 'Land Monkeys' after being awarded 2025's highest fundraiser on their 6th Variety Bash. This year, they raised $253,870, which brings their overall fundraising total to $1,260,000.

As part of a tradition since 1985, the team visited schools along the route, delivering educational equipment and books to children who need them the most. The Oliver Hume team, led by General Manager Harvey Carretero, includes Gerrard Ellis, Anthony Braunthal, Andre Collette, Cameron Yates, Darryl Hodges, and Peter Bozzo.

The Variety Bash is Australia's longest running and most iconic charity motoring event. Each year, the Variety Bash sees hundreds fundraise and hit the road for kids in need. Known for its flare and fanfare, it's always a sight to behold when the Variety Bash comes to town!

In this year's Victorian Bash, themed "Outback Odyssey," the Land Monkeys joined over 100 teams, who all travelled in antique cars from Adelaide along the dusty, red tracks to Darwin.

The 2025 10-day event raised over $1.8million for charity, with the Land Monkeys contributing 14% of the total across 82 entrant cars.
