David Rogers began his career with Oliver Hume in 1999 as a member of the board of directors before developing Oliver Hume Property Funds in 2003 in partnership with Michael Duster of which he became a Managing Director in 2003.

Since this appointment David has assisted in growing Oliver Hume Property Funds from two directors into a syndicated property investment business with current funds exceeding $100m and a pipeline of developmental projects exceeding $750m in value. His expertise lies in analysing asset transactions and advising on both taxation and risk mitigation strategies. His strategic abilities are partnered with superior communication skills which have seen him liaise with external consultants and financial institutions including mainstream banks and secondary lenders.

David harnesses a deep understanding of running both retail and wholesale funds and the issuance of those fund; additionally, his understanding of the compliance aspects of the funds management business and oversees and manages Oliver Hume’s AFSL Licence.

David spent years building his own business before selling the company in 1999. Prior to this, he commenced his accounting career with the Australian Taxation Office where he spent a decade working across corporate structuring, property taxation and property law.

David’s role at Oliver Hume Property Funds encompasses high-level support on feasibility assessments and performing due diligence on various projects, in addition to liaising with external organisations, offering strategic financial and corporate guidance, creating key company documents and providing project support across the business. His vast experience in business development and building a profitable company allows him to apply financial guidance toward Oliver Hume Property Funds’ growing portfolio.

Additionally, David is a member of Oliver Hume Property Funds Investment Review Committee, where he evaluates and reviews all due diligence for new projects.
