With Australia now being well-advanced in our efforts to ‘flatten the curve’ and stop the spread of COVID-19 attention is now turning to, gradually but carefully, re-opening the economy while we continue the fight against COVID-19.
In Victoria and Queensland, land sales enquiry and sales levels held firm in January and February but began to show the first signs of softness in March. The brunt of the impact from COVID-19 was felt after the March quarter as Australia reached peak infections and lockdowns were in force for some time.
