Oliver Hume a finalist in 2016 UDIA Awards for Excellence

Oliver Hume Property Funds has placed as a finalist in the 2016 Urban Development Institute (UDIA) Awards for Excellence in the High Density Development Category for its statement North Melbourne development, Nord.
The Victorian UDIA Awards showcase the best of the urban development industry’s accomplishments by recognising the outstanding achievements of the highest quality developments in each state.
“Nord stood out for its innovative approach to a site in North Melbourne, on the edge of the city’s CBD” the UDIA noted.
Nord is set on Flemington Road, Melbourne’s grand tree-lined northern gateway to the CBD, close to Carlton, North Melbourne and Royal Park and includes 143 one, two and three bedroom apartments.
Taking inspiration from the classic, clean lines of Scandinavian design, Nord features bespoke interiors styled with a minimalist combination of natural timber, offset with warm whites.
Of placing as a finalist in these prestigious awards, Oliver Hume Property Funds Development Director, Jason Wood said “we are pleased to be recognised by the judges for our Nord project, particularly given the calibre of the projects in this category”.
The sell-out success of Nord is a testament to its unique quality in a market studded with apartment developments.
