Melbourne recorded 438 property sales above the million-dollar mark last week, across 2,327 auction and private sale results reported by realestate.com.au's data division Proptrack. Of the 2,005 properties scheduled for auction, 934 were sold via that method.

The week's standout result was a five-bedroom house at 2 Grandview Terrace, Kew, which sold at auction for $4.681 million — the most expensive sale reported across the city for the period.
