Realestate.com.au journalist Jessica Brown reports on how Adelaide's property boom is driving significant demand for qualified real estate professionals across South Australia, and the opportunity this presents for career changers and new entrants alike.
With more than 200 property-related roles currently advertised in SA, agencies, property managers and developers are actively seeking qualified staff. Adelaide's median home value has climbed 90.5 per cent over five years to $937,000, underpinned by demand consistently outpacing supply, low unemployment of 3.8 per cent, and major economic projects including the AUKUS submarine program.
Oliver Hume's Property Training Australia General and Training Manager Troy Guthrie said the conditions represent a unique window of opportunity. Mr Guthrie noted strong demand for qualified professionals across the board, and encouraged those finishing school, changing careers, or returning to work to consider real estate as a dynamic pathway with real earning potential.
Property Training Australia, part of Oliver Hume Property Group, offers online courses for those looking to enter the industry.
